Ho ho ho y’all. That’s right. It’s Christmas time! I’m writing this intro on Christmas Eve morning. The Blind Owl holiday tour started last night out in central Massachusetts with the in-laws. In about an hour or so, we are headed to the senior Mr. Blind Owl’s place in NH. If Week 16’s picks seem a little off, it’s because I made them whilst on the toilet at my sister in-laws house after a great deal of Sam Adams. Brendawn wrote his while wrapping a butt ton of presents for his children with a criminally low amount of alcohol involved. As for the Cowboy, I haven’t heard anything from him since yesterday. His picks are there, but who put them is a mystery. Before all that let’s see how we did in Week 15 and how it impacts the totals.

Concret3Cowboy: Cincy is one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. Also, I didn’t care for Mac for the sole reason he went to Bama, nowadays he’s just a big cry baby on the field.. maybe he is more like Brady than I thought.

Blind Owl: Justin Fields running around will keep this one close for a few minutes but the Bills will take the lead and never look back. Buffalo will cover.

Blind Owl: The Browns can score, kind of. The Saints can not.

Concret3Cowboy: It’s about time I throw in the towel on my Saints believing, defense is great.. really can’t say much about the rest of the team. Really about the same for Cleveland but the Browns have Chubb and a Quarterback with a Chu… nevermind.

Blind Owl: Both of these teams aren’t good. Tannehill is hurt. Henry will have to do it all. I guess I’ll take the Titans and just hope I don’t have to watch any of this snooze fest.

Concret3Cowboy: Double oof.. Houston has made a run with some of the top teams in the league. Chiefs, Cowboys and Eagles to be more informative. This being a divisional game makes it trickier, but good coaching will have the better roster in the Titans playing well, a little underdog cue for a team with their QB out and most of the country sold out on the Titans.

BrendawnoftheDead: Titans because the Texans are actively trying to lose.

SEA @ KC: KC -10

Blind Owl: I just want Seattle to lose badly. Still hate them.

Concret3Cowboy: The Seahawks have lost to the Raiders, beat the Rams by 4 and then lose to the Panthers. BUT KC is trash at covering, give me the Hawks.

Blind Owl: The Vikings should win but they love playing to their competition. They’re lucky the Colts suck. I think they’ll beat up the Giants but who knows after last week.

Concret3Cowboy: Giants are trying to capture their early season success, the Vikings are trying to not be the same old Vikings. I like Minnesota to take a step forward and cover here.

BrendawnoftheDead: I think the Giants cover. They're fighting for a playoff spot and Minnesota clinched last week. Plus they have a hard time putting teams away.

DET @ CAR: DET -2.5

Blind Owl: The Cowboy is going to pick the Panthers if he sticks to his rules. So I’ll take the Lions.

Concret3Cowboy: Rules are rules.. Panthers it is.

ATL @ BAL: BAL -6.5

Blind Owl: This spread seems big with a backup QB in for the Ravens. But I guess Atlanta’s QB is some Ridder guy so I guess I’ll take Baltimore.

Concret3Cowboy: Ravens got beat up pretty good, worse than the scoreboard shows, against the Browns. I have had my moments in the season where I’ve really liked the Falcons, I’m going to try it again here.

Blind Owl: I want to pick Washington so badly. But the 49ers are a much better team. Heinicke won’t crush many heinies this week. 9ers.

Concret3Cowboy: Defense, both these teams actually have it and Chase is playing for the Commanders for the first time this season. 9ers it is.

Blind Owl: I’ve been looking forward to this one. It’s too bad Hurts won’t be playing. In my view, that makes the pick easy. This’ll be a good one but the Cowboys will take it.

Concret3Cowboy: Philly wins, did we all forget about Minshew Magic? This ain’t your average backup QB, he’s got that special aura around him like Henicke does.. but has a better arm.

BrendawnoftheDead: mmmmm I guess Dallas wins but I don't think they cover.

Blind Owl: Tampa continues their limp to the playoffs against a bad Cardinals team. They better win or they’re screwed.

Concret3Cowboy: Arizona, I know the sad Broncos squad beat these sorry birds last week, but Rypien was hit about 10 times in just the first half.. JJ had 3 sacks, and no it’s not 2012.

BrendawnoftheDead: I'm having a hard time envisioning Tampa beating anyone by multiple scores. Arizona loses but only by 7.

Blind Owl: After what I watched Matt Ryan and the Colts do last week I can’t in all good conscience pick them to do anything but suck.

Concret3Cowboy: Herbert showed why people liked him and the Chargers before the season.. dudes got top end arm talent. That pass down the sideline was a top 3 throw this season, it was on a rope for a long way. Colts stink and they’re playing Foles to save money.
